WMC launches crowdfunding to make livestream possible

The World Music Contest (WMC) is taking an important step towards a global audience. For the 2026 edition, WMC is launching an official livestream, allowing music lovers from around the world to follow all concerts, competitions and shows live.
To make this international streaming experience possible, WMC has started a crowdfunding campaign. Through this campaign, audiences can already secure their access to the livestream while directly contributing to making it happen.

With the WMC Stream Pass, viewers get access to the complete programme during the event. From concert competitions to shows and performances — everything can be followed through one central platform.
The stream will be available worldwide and offers a solution for anyone who cannot attend WMC in person, but still wants to experience the event up close.
Pre-sale with immediate value
The livestream is offered through a pre-sale model. For €34.95, viewers receive full access to the stream. During the event, the price will increase to €49.95. This makes the campaign not only a way to finance the stream, but also a direct purchase: viewers are guaranteed access to the platform if the livestream goes ahead.
Bringing WMC to the world together
With this crowdfunding campaign, WMC aims not only to raise funds, but also to strengthen the international character of the event. “WMC has always been a global event, with participants and fans from all over the world.
