WMC 'Klankstad Club'

Since 1951, the World Music Contest (WMC) has been firmly rooted in the Kerkrade community.
With nearly 75 years of history, hundreds of thousands of musicians from around the globe, and millions of visitors, WMC is a unique cultural heritage festival.

In honor of our anniversary year, we are building a sustainable and exclusive partnership with businesses in the region and beyond. That’s why we’ve established the WMC Klankstad Club.

A network with impact

The WMC Klankstad Club is a network of a maximum of 75 companies, named after Kerkrade’s proud honorary title Klankstad (“City of Sound”). Members of this club provide structural support to WMC and benefit from visibility, networking opportunities, and exclusive experiences – not just during the festival, but also in the years in between.

The contribution is €1,500 per year. This makes your company a partner of a festival with international reach and strong local support.

What do you get as a member?

As a member of the WMC Klankstad Club, you will receive:

An invitation to an exclusive annual networking event at a special location;
Four passe-partouts (all-access passes) for all WMC activities in 2024 and 2025;
An annual concert evening for members and their partners, including a reception program;
Free tickets to the WMC 2026 anniversary program, including the special sponsors’ concert;
Visibility within the WMC network, on our channels, and during events.
 

Tax benefits

Your membership counts as sponsorship. This means it is tax-deductible and VAT-reclaimable, provided there is a business interest. Thanks to our ANBI status, a donation without return services is also fiscally advantageous.
