Bio

Percussion group of the music association Polyhymnia from Lemelerveld, the
Netherlands. The group consists of a group of enthusiastic musicians and has been
led by Henrike Palland since 2015. The percussion group has a rich history and has
won many major prizes, including a Dutch championship. In addition, the group
finished 1st at the Open European Championship in Rastede, Germany in 2017,
2022 and 2025 with a marching parade show. The group also likes to joke and likes
to seek a challenge in a combination of music and entertainment. They also look for
surprising elements in both marching and standing performances. The audience
regularly sees smiling and surprised faces in response to new creative ideas that
are implemented with dedication. The audience is therefore an important source of
inspiration for the percussion group. If the audience is having fun, the musicians are
having fun too!
