Bio
Established in 1978. Acts in Youth Culture Centre in Radom. Band consists of
children and youths from 8 to 25 years old. Orkiestra Grandioso runs a band
program with different levels of experience: beginner, Small Band, Orkiestra
Grandioso, Adult Band - Orkiestra GRAND. Orchestra Grandioso is a laureate and
winner of many Polish and international music competitions, where gets highest
ratings and trophies for live concert performances and show marching
parades. Band received Grand Prix trophy at Polish Open Championships in 2023,
2024, 2025 and 2nd place in Marching Parade at WAMSB World CHampionships
2025. Grandioso's concert repertoire consist of variety of styles: marches, pops,
rock ,jazz and classics from renaissance to contemporary compositions, including
best symphonic pieces. Gradioso Society runs also commissions of new pieces for
Wind Band from Polish composers. As a verstile orchestra, Grandioso acts also as
Marching and Show Band with many productions performed at different festivals
and contests. With unique charm of its cheerleaders and majorettes Grandioso
always brings smile, happiness and joy to audience. Grandioso visited Germany,
Czech Republic, Russia, Belarus, Italy, France, Latvia, Romania, Greece, Denmark,
Tunisia, Spain, China (Beijing, Shanghai, Luoyang) and took part in Chinese New
Year Parade in Hong Kong.
