Bio
The Orchestre d'Harmonie de la Région Centre (OHRC), created in 1982, has been
supported by the Centre-Val de Loire region since 2003, due to its high quality of
interpretations. Composed of 70 musicians, all voluntary, whether they are
profesional musicians, future professionals finishing their training or very proficient
amateurs, the ORHC maintains a quasi-professional level, making it a showcase for
the expertise of wind orchestras in France. Directed by Philippe Ferro from 1992 to
2024, the orchestra has contributed to the discovery of lesser-known composers
and works and to the enrichment of the repertory by commissionning works by : Ton

Gotkovsky, Jacques Castérède, Edith Canat de Chizy, Michel Merlet, Frank Ticheli,
