Fanfarenzug des KSC Strausberg e.V. is a non-profit music association from
Strausberg, Germany, dedicated to children, teenagers, and adults who share a
passion for music in motion. Established as a traditional fanfare ensemble, the
group has transformed in recent years into a dynamic show and marching band,
combining musical precision with visual performance. A major step in its
development came with the expansion of its brass instrumentation. In 2025, the
traditional Bb/Eb natural trumpets were expanded by a full marching band brass
section, including trumpets, mellophones, baritones, and tubas. Alongside this
change, the ensemble redefined its show concept, moving towards a more
contemporary approach to show design. This modernization has brought new
creative energy and elevated the band’s artistic profile. Beyond music, the
association’s mission is to give its members the opportunity to grow personally.
Participation encourages individuals not only to refine their musical and
performance skills but also to become stronger as teammates and community
members. Fanfarenzug Strausberg regularly competes at national and international
events, achieving notable success since its strategic shift in 2023. In addition, it
performs at local festivals and cultural gatherings around Strausberg, enriching the
region’s cultural life and inspiring audiences with its powerful blend of sound and
movement.
