Bio

Det Fynske Slagtøjsakademi was founded in 1999, by the brothers Jai and Mikkel
Jenkov. Det Fynske Slagtøjsakademi is the largest provider of percussion music in
Denmark. Det Fynske Slagtøjsakademi has won 15 national championships and
became World Champions in 2015 and 2017. Det Fynske Slagtøjsakademi won a
silver medal at the World Championship in Germany in 2024. Det Fynske
Slagtøjsakademi has every year many great events and the highlight, is their own
great Show Concert in Svendborg. Det Fynske Slagtøjsakademi contributes and
participates every year at Percussive, which is known as the major drum camp in
Scandinavian. Det Fynske Slagtøjsakademi received in 2009, a special honorary
award for their great work with children and young people, through music. Det
Fynske Slagtøjsakademi pays tribute to the good community and wishes all the
participants a great World Music Contest 2026.
