For many musicians, performing at WMC is a once in a lifetime moment. It is something they have worked towards for years, with endless rehearsals, dedication and passion leading up to that one performance on stage.
But not everyone can be there in person. Friends, family and supporters are often spread across the world, unable to experience that moment live in the stadium or theatre.
With the WMC livestream, you can still be part of it. You can watch your band perform, feel the energy of the audience, and experience the tension, pride and emotion as it unfolds. Whether you are watching alone or together with others, it brings you closer to the moment and to the people on stage.
It is more than just watching a performance. It is about sharing the experience, supporting your band, and feeling connected — wherever you are in the world.

Is this a donation?
Yes and no. Technically it is a purchase of the platform. But if you would like to help us make this stream possible, you can do an additionel donation. Which we would be really appreciate but first and foremost you are purchasing our streaming platform.
What if we don’t reach the full amount?
If we are unable to reach the required amount, the livestream may not go ahead. In that case, your stream purchase of €34.95 will be fully refunded. Any additional contributions will not be refunded and will support WMC.
Until when does this campaign run?
The campaign runs until April 30. After that, we will make a final decision about the livestream.
Make sure to secure your access or show your support before then.
Is there another way to watch WMC, for example on TV or afterwards?
No, there isn’t. The concerts, competitions and shows of WMC can only be watched via the official WMC streaming platform. The recordings will not be made available through other channels afterwards. With a stream pass, you get exclusive access to everything that is broadcast.
Can I watch the livestream later on demand?
Yes. All broadcasts are available to watch during the entire event. In addition, recordings remain available on the platform for up to one week after WMC ends, so you can watch everything at your own pace and not miss a moment.
Will the recordings be provided to participating ensembles?
We are doing everything we can to ensure that the recordings remain available to the bands after the WMC. At this time, we do not intend to provide the footage directly to participating ensembles, but we are working on an accessible way to make and keep the recordings available on the platform.
