During the World Music Contest, the concerts in the Rodahal truly come to life. This is where the world meets through music from powerful brass sounds to refined orchestral performances, brought by top ensembles from across the globe. Each evening has its own atmosphere, with international themed nights and unique line ups that take you on a musical journey full of energy, emotion, and craftsmanship. This is where you don’t just hear wind music you feel it.

WMC proudly presents a concert series featuring the absolute world elite.
Leading orchestras from the international military music scene represent their countries and their unique wind music traditions. They present programmes featuring leading national composers and iconic works that have shaped wind music worldwide, complemented by exciting premieres.

In addition, the series includes two concerts featuring the very best brass bands and brass ensembles of today, as well as the traditional final of the International Conductors Competition.

All concerts within this series carry the label “Best of”.

During the World Music Contest, concerts are a key part of the program. Hosted at venues such as Rodahal and Theater Kerkrade, visitors can enjoy performances by world class orchestras, brass bands, and ensembles. From spectacular gala concerts to unique collaborations, the concerts showcase the diversity and top level of wind music.
