Bio

The Vriezenveense Harmonie, founded in 1920, is a vibrant musical association
comprising four orchestras and two percussion ensembles. Based in their own
cultural hub, Odeon, members of all ages come together to make music, learn, and
perform for the Twente community. The association is known for its broad
repertoire, ranging from classical to contemporary works, and its strong focus on
musical education. As a result, several wonderful projects have been completed,
including concerts and theater shows. The A-Percussion Ensemble, renowned for
its energy and precision, has been under the inspiring leadership of Niek KleinJan
since April 2016, continuing the Harmonie’s proud tradition of excellence and
innovation in music.
