Bio
The Van Limburg Stirum Band is a renowned show and marching band from
Wezep, part of the Van Limburg Stirum Korpsen (VLS). The Band is known for its
high musical and show-technical level. Internationally, the association has achieved
recent, major successes. Highlights include winning the World Title in the Show
category at the World Music Contest (WMC) in 2022 and securing a Gold Medal at
the WAMSB contest in Rastede in 2024. Besides the contest element, the VLS
Band frequently presents captivating new show productions and concert programs.
These productions are technically complex and musically challenging at the same
time, allowing them to engage a broad audience, while of course maintaining great
musical enjoyment amongst their own musicians.
