Bio
The Old White Band is commune concert and marching band in Stara Biała
(Poland). Band started its activity in autumn 2003. However, the recruitment was
announced in the spring of the following year, and then the instruments were
purchased. Old White Band performed for the first time at a midnight mass in the
parish church in 2004. Stanisław Obrębski was its conductor for 8 years. Currently,
the band is led by Grzegorz Dębski. The main task of the band is to enrich with
music all celebrations, academies, anniversaries and events organized in the Stara
Biała commune. In addition, the team's goal is to represent and advertise their
region with dignity during performances at reviews, festivals and competitions. Old
White Band in connection with the tasks set before it, is prepared to perform a
variety of music genres, starting from those that it performs during celebrations,
holidays and events (religious songs, marches, patriotic songs, carols) and hits of
film music, POP hits or many standards of popular music.
