Bio
In the JBOS, around 70 enthusiastic young musicians perform under the direction of
Isabelle Gschwend. Young people from secondary school age up to 21 years old
from Sempach, Neuenkirch, Malters, Rain, Hildisrieden, Emmenbrücke, Eich,
Rothenburg, and Nottwil are part of the JBOS. Each year we carry out various
activities: in addition to the annual participation in the competition as part of the
Cantonal Youth Music Festival, the JBOS organizes attractive annual concerts in
autumn, often in collaboration with other youth ensembles. Achievements: 2nd
place at the Cantonal Competition in Wohlhausen 2024 1st place at the Swiss Youth
Music Festival 2023 1st place at the Lucerne Cantonal Youth Music Festival in
Schüpfheim 2017 Projects: Crime Concert 2023 Children’s Concerts “The Music
Mice in Flower Wonderland” 2022 Children’s Concerts “The Music Mice Help the
Bees” 2021 (1st place in the Swiss Youth Music Association’s Sponsorship Award)
