Bio
We are a village association from Schüpfen, Switzerland. Schüpfen is located in the
Seeland region between Bern and Biel and has approximately 3,800 residents. The
Schüpfen Music Society was founded in 1873. For 150 years, we have been
making music with great joy and dedicating ourselves enthusiastically to our hobby:
brass music. Since its founding, the ensemble has consisted solely of brass
instruments. In 2008, the name was changed to reflect this, and the society was
renamed the Schüpfen Brass Band. Today, the association has 29 active members
and 6 honorary members. The Schüpfen Brass Band competes in the third division.
In addition to participating in music festivals, the annual concert is a fixed part of the
calendar.
