Bio
Brassband Bravoer is a dynamic and ambitious brass ensemble from Tervuren,
Belgium. Founded in 1994, the band has grown into a vibrant musical community
that brings together talented musicians of all ages, united by their passion for brass
music and performance excellence. Under the direction of conductor Thomas
Roelants, Bravoer combines traditional brass band repertoire with contemporary
works and original Belgian compositions. The band is known for its warm sound,
expressive storytelling, and energetic concert programs that connect with
audiences both locally and abroad. Bravoer regularly performs at cultural events
and collaborates with renowned Belgian artists. After several successful concert
projects, the band is now setting its sights on a new milestone: participation in the
World Music Contest 2026 in Kerkrade (The Netherlands) — an exciting opportunity
to share its music, spirit, and Bravoer energy on the international stage.
