Bio
Musicians from 13 associations all over Germany have come together to form a
unique ensemble with a common goal: Performing as a strong community at the
World Music Contest 2026 in Kerkrade. What makes the ACADEMY BAND special
is the power of collaboration. People grow together beyond regional boundaries,
sharing passion, experience, and innovation to form a group that embodies musical
excellence and team spirit at the highest level. Under the guidance of internationally
experienced instructors, intensive band camps promote musical skill, marching
precision, and educational competence. The ACADEMY BAND stands for
exchange, education, and the preservation of fanfare music - interpreted in a
modern style and with an eye to the future. Each musician brings their newly gained
experience back to their home band. This creates a network that continues to
resonate and thus strengthens the musical community throughout Germany.
