Then sign up for the World Youth Wind Band Project Week in Kerkrade (NL)!

Under the leadership of top conductor Ivan Meylemans and several tutors, you will, together with your peers, rehearse and perfect a fantastic musical program during your stay at Rolduc. There will be rehearsals and hard work, but of course, there will also be time for relaxation and activities. At the end of the week, the World Youth Wind Band will perform two concerts as a grand finale to a wonderful project week.

Practical Information:

• You can register from 7. March by uploading an audition video on mywmc.nl. The audition videos will be reviewed by conductor Ivan Meylemans and artistic director of WMC Björn Bus, who will decide who will be accepted into the World Youth Wind Band. Specifications for the video and the submission deadline can be found on the website. All instruments that fit within the instrumentation of a wind orchestra are welcome.
• The project week will take place from Sunday, August 17 to Sunday, August 24. We expect you to arrive on the evening of August 17 at Rolduc in Kerkrade, and on August 24, everyone will return home in the morning.
• The cost for participating in this project week is 400,- euros. This includes full board accommodation at Rolduc, and participation in the entire project week, including rehearsals, concerts, sheet music, etc. Travel expenses (flights, public transport, etc.) to Kerkrade (NL) are the participant's responsibility. The WMC will arrange transportation to and from the concert venues.
