On Sunday afternoon, October 15th, Dr. Giff Howarth, in collaboration with the WMC world champion in percussion, Cadenza Twello, will be conducting a percussion workshop.

Dr. Giff Howarth is an Associate Professor of Percussion at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. He has composed several pieces, conducts workshops, and performs as a soloist in Asia, Europe, and the United States.

During the WMC 2022, he served as a jury member for the concert competitions in the Percussion Ensembles Concert Division.

Together with Cadenza Twello, he will guide the participants in a two-hour workshop, covering all the ins and outs of shaping an ensemble, both technically and musically. He will also share insights from his experience as a professional and as a jury member.
