In the run-up to the 20th World Music Contest (WMC), which will take place in the summer of 2026, the WMC organization will increasingly make itself heard with a wide range of cultural activities. This year, the weekend of October 14th and 15th will be dedicated to "WMC"
WMC in Concert: Pro Brass
14 October 2023
The 40-year-old Austrian brass ensemble Pro Brass will present their unique anniversary concert "Best of Pro Brass" on October 14th. This concert program features a mix of Pro Brass classics, filled with emotion and showcasing spectacular brass playing.
Concert of Champions
15 October 2023
The magic of WMC 2022 will be revived on Oct. 15 with a concert in the "Concert of Champions" series. Percussion ensemble Cadenza Twello, winner of the Concert Division Percussion Ensembles, and Koninklijke Fanfare Kempenbloei Achel, winner in the Concert Division Fanfare, will then perform in the evening.
WMC Campus
14 October 2023
On Saturday, October 14th, the HuB.Kerkrade and the theater foyer will be transformed into a vibrant marketplace.
WMC volunteers and numerous cultural WMC partners from the Kerkraadse region will be presenting themselves there.
